Quick Overview (What & Why)
This tutorial shows you how to organize images into folders in RealEstateContent.ai so you can stay organized and quickly access the images you want when editing your posts.
You can organize:
Images from the Editor image library
Your uploaded images
Folders make it easy to group images by:
Room type (kitchens, exteriors, interiors)
Style (modern, rustic, minimal)
Purpose (team photos, listings, local photos)
Anything that makes sense for you
Before You Start (Important!)
Before organizing images into folders, make sure:
You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account
You understand there are two places where folders can be managed
Good to know:
Folders help with organization only — images are never removed from the main library when added to a folder.
There Are Two Ways to Organize Images Into Folders
Option 1: Using the Uploads Tab (Best for Your Uploaded Images)
This option is best if you want to organize images you personally uploaded.
How to Organize Images Using the Uploads Tab
Step 1: Click Uploads on the left-hand navigation bar
Step 2: Look for the Folders section
Any folders you’ve already created will appear here
Create a New Folder
Step 3: Click + New Folder
A new folder called “New Folder” will appear
Step 4: Rename and customize the folder
Click the three dots (… ) on the folder
Select Settings
From here, you can:
Rename the folder (e.g. Kitchens, Team, Local Area, Canva Templates)
Choose a folder color (optional)
Enter a hex code or use the color picker
Default color is light grey if you prefer not to change it
Step 5: Click Update to save your folder
Add Images to a Folder
You can organize images in two ways:
Option A: Drag & Drop
Drag images directly into the folder
Option B: Add to Folder
Click the three dots (… ) on an image
Select Add to Folder
Choose the folder you want
Important:
Your image will still remain in Uploads and inside My Uploads in the Editor — folders do not remove images from their original location.
About the Images Section
If you scroll down under Folders to Images:
You’ll see all images you’ve uploaded
These images automatically appear in My Uploads inside the Editor
This view shows uploads, not folders — this is expected behavior.
Option 2: Organizing Images Inside the Editor (Best Overall Option)
This option is best if you want to organize:
Editor library images
Your uploaded images
Favorites you use often
How to Organize Images Inside the Editor
Step 1: Open the Content Calendar
Step 2: Click into a generated post
Step 3: Click Edit Design to open the Editor
Step 4: Click Images on the left-hand navigation bar
Step 5: Click Folders at the top
Default Folders You’ll See
Every account includes:
My Uploads – all images you’ve uploaded
Favorites – images you’ve hearted
Team Images – only for Team Plan users
Good to know:
All uploaded images are automatically added to My Uploads.
Create a Folder in the Editor
Step 6: Click Create Folder
A new folder called “New Folder” will appear
Step 7: Rename and customize the folder
Click the three dots (… ) on the folder
Click Settings
Rename it and optionally choose a color
Step 8: Click Update
Add Images to Folders in the Editor
You can organize images by:
Dragging and dropping images into folders, or
Clicking the three dots (… ) on an image and selecting Add to Folder
This works for:
Editor library images (16,000+ images)
Your uploaded images
Using the Favorites Folder (Highly Recommended)
You’ll notice a heart icon ❤️ on the top-left corner of every image.
Clicking the heart automatically adds the image to Favorites
Favorites is the fastest way to save images you love
This is a great way to:
Quickly build your own curated image library
Avoid scrolling endlessly through the image library later
Deleting a Folder
Want to delete a folder?
Step 1: Click the three dots (… ) on the folder
Step 2: Click Delete Folder
Important:
Deleting a folder does not delete the images.
All images remain available in the Editor library.
Summary
You’ve now learned how to organize images into folders in RealEstateContent.ai — both through the Uploads tab and inside the Editor. Folders help you stay organized, save time, and quickly access the images you use most.
