Quick Overview (What & Why)

This tutorial shows you how to use the Create Property Listing feature in RealEstateContent.ai.

This feature allows you to quickly create professional listing posts by:

  • Pulling property details automatically from a listing link (URL), or

  • Letting you manually enter the information yourself

It saves you from manually typing in bedrooms, bathrooms, price, descriptions, and uploading photos one by one.

Before You Start (Important!)

Before creating a property listing post, make sure:

  • You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account

  • You have access to the listing information (either via a link or details you can enter manually)

Good to know:

The listing URL is used only to gather information.

Your generated post does not link back to that website or reference it in any way.

How to Create a Property Listing Post

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log into your account
Step 2: Open the Content Calendar
Step 3: Click “Create Property Listing Post”

  • This button is located on the top bar, underneath the topic field

A pop-up window will appear.

Step 4: Enter Your Listing URL (Optional but Recommended)

What Is a URL? (Plain English)

A URL is simply a website link — for example, the link you copy from your browser’s address bar.

You can:

  • Copy the link

  • Paste it directly into the URL field

Best Practices for URLs

  • URLs must be publicly accessible

  • Avoid links that require:

    • A login

    • A password

    • A private account

Recommended Websites

For best results, we recommend using:

  • Zillow

  • Realtor.ca

  • Realtor.com

These sites are structured in a way that makes it easy for the AI to gather:

  • Bedrooms

  • Bathrooms

  • Price

  • Square footage

  • Description

  • Amenities

  • Listing photos

Important Clarification (Very Common Question):

Using a Zillow or Realtor link does not send your clients to Zillow.

The URL is used only behind the scenes to gather information.

Your final post does not link to, reference, or promote the source website.

Alternative: Enter Information Manually

If you don’t have a URL — or prefer not to use one — you can click Enter Manual Information.

This allows you to manually enter:

  • Bedrooms

  • Bathrooms

  • Price

  • Description

  • Images

  • Other listing details

Step 5: Choose the Date

  • Select the date you want the post(s) generated for using the calendar picker

Step 6: Choose Your Platforms

Select the platforms you want listing posts created for:

  • Instagram

  • Facebook

  • X (Twitter)

  • LinkedIn

Step 7: Click “Create Post”

  • The AI will now gather all necessary listing information

  • This may take 1–2 minutes

Once complete, you’ll see the information populated under:

  • Address

  • Price

  • Bedrooms

  • Bathrooms

  • Listing Description

  • Additional Information

Important:

Always give the imported information a quick review and make edits if needed.

Step 8: Review & Select Listing Photos

At the top, you’ll see the listing photos.

  • The AI automatically selects 4 images (minimum required for a carousel)

  • Selected images will have a red outline

Highly Recommended Pro Tip

  • De-select the AI-chosen images

  • Re-select the images you like best

Image #1 is your cover image, so choose your strongest photo first.

You can select up to 9 images total.

Step 9: Choose the Post Type

You’ll see a Post Type field that controls the design headline, such as:

  • Just Listed

  • For Sale

  • Price Improvement

  • Open House

  • Just Sold

  • For Rent

  • Coming Soon

  • Etc

You can also choose Other and type in your own headline (e.g. “Gorgeous Location”).

Important:

This choice is not permanent.

You can change the text, design, fonts, colors, and wording later in the Editor.

Step 10: Click “Next”

When you’re happy with the information, click Next in the bottom-right corner.

Step 11: Choose a Template

  • Select a template you like

  • The selected template will show a red outline

Reminder:

You can always change the template later in the Editor.

Click Create Post.

Step 12: Let the AI Generate Your Post

  • Generation may take 1–2 minutes

  • Your listing post(s) will appear on your Content Calendar

After Your Post Is Generated

You can:

  • Edit the caption

  • Click Edit Design to adjust layout, text, colors, fonts, and images

  • Use Convert to Video to turn the carousel into a slideshow video

Bonus Tip: Duplicate Your Listing Post

Duplicating posts makes repurposing content super easy. At any given time, you can duplicate posts from the previous month, the current month, or the upcoming month.

Click Duplicate to:

  • Reuse the post for weekly Open Houses

  • Update it later to announce a Price Improvement

  • Convert it to a Just Sold post when it sells

This saves time and keeps your branding consistent.

Summary

You’ve now learned how to create a property listing post in RealEstateContent.ai. Whether you use a listing URL or enter details manually, the platform makes it easy to create professional, on-brand listing content in minutes.
