Quick Overview (What & Why)
An Instagram collaboration allows one post to appear on multiple Instagram accounts at the same time. This is commonly used when:
Partnering with another agent
Tagging a lender, builder, or local business
Co-posting with a team member or brokerage
Important: Collaborations are an Instagram feature, not a RealEstateContent.ai feature. RealEstateContent.ai simply makes it easy to set them up before your post is published.
Before You Start (Important!)
Before setting up a collaboration, make sure:
You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account
You have generated Instagram posts in your Content Calendar
The Instagram account you want to collaborate with is public
You know their exact Instagram handle
Good to know: If the account is private or the handle is typed incorrectly, the collaboration will not work.
What Is an Instagram Collaboration?
When you collaborate on an Instagram post:
The post is published once
It appears on both your profile and the collaborator’s profile
Engagement (likes, comments, views) is shared
However:
The other user must accept the collaboration request
The post will not appear on their profile until they accept
