Quick Overview (What & Why)

Multi-selecting allows you to move, reposition, or adjust several items together instead of editing each one individually.

This is helpful when working with:

  • Text

  • Shapes

  • Icons

  • Images

  • Any grouped design elements

Before You Start (Important!)

Before multi-selecting elements, make sure:

  • You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account

  • You have already generated content in your Content Calendar

  • The post you want to edit is not scheduled

Good to know: Scheduled posts are locked. Unschedule the post first if you need to make edits.

How to Multi-Select Multiple Elements

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Content Calendar

Step 2: Click into the post you want to edit

Step 3: Click Edit Design to open the Editor

Multi-Selecting Elements (Mac & PC)

You can multi-select elements using either method below on both Mac and PC.

Method 1: Shift-Click (Mac & PC)

  1. Click the first element you want to select

  2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard

  3. While holding Shift, click each additional element

  4. All selected elements will appear highlighted

  5. Click and drag them together to reposition them

This works for text, images, shapes, and other design elements.

Method 2: Click-and-Drag Selection Box (Mac & PC)

  1. Click and drag your mouse across the area containing the elements

  2. Any elements inside the selection box will be selected

  3. Click and drag the group to move them together

This method is especially helpful when elements are close together or layered.

Applying Changes Across All Slides (LINK Feature)

If you want your multi-selected changes to apply across all slides:

  1. Click into the first slide (this acts as the master slide)

  2. Make sure the LINK feature is turned ON

    • The paperclip / infinity icon in the top-left corner should not have a slash through it

  3. Multi-select and move or adjust your elements

The changes will apply to all linked slides automatically.

If you only want to adjust elements on one slide, turn the LINK feature OFF first.

Saving Your Changes

When you’re finished:

  • Click Save and Exit

  • Your changes will be saved and applied to the post

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Why can I only move one element at a time?

You likely haven’t multi-selected the elements yet. Use Shift-click or the selection box.

Why did all my slides change?

The LINK feature was turned ON. Turn it off to edit slides individually.

Can I multi-select different types of elements?

Yes. You can multi-select text, images, shapes, and other elements together.

Summary

You’ve now successfully multi-selected multiple elements at once in RealEstateContent.ai. Using multi-select and the LINK feature makes editing faster, cleaner, and far less repetitive.
