Quick Overview (What & Why)

This is especially helpful when you want to reposition grouped information—like your contact information (headshot, name, phone number, email, website, or additional contact details) —all together as one unit.

Before You Start (Important!)

Before moving multiple elements, make sure:

  • You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account

  • You have already generated content in your Content Calendar

  • The post you want to edit is not scheduled

Good to know: Scheduled posts are locked. Unschedule the post first if you need to make edits.

How to Move a Single Element (Quick Refresher)

Once inside the Editor:

  • Click any text box or element

  • Drag it to where you want it on the design

This works for individual elements, but there’s a faster way if you want to move multiple items together.

How to Move Multiple Elements at the Same Time

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the Content Calendar

Step 2: Click into the post you want to edit

Step 3: Click Edit Design to open the Editor

Multi-Selecting Elements

You can multi-select elements using either method below on both Mac and PC.

Method 1: Shift-Click

  1. Click the first text box you want to move

  2. Hold down the Shift key on your keyboard

  3. While holding Shift, click each additional text box

    • (For example: name, phone number, email, website)

  4. Once all elements are selected, you’ll see them highlighted

  5. Click and drag them together to the new position

All selected elements will move at the same time.

Method 2: Click-and-Drag Selection Box

  1. Click and drag your mouse across the area containing the text

  2. Any elements inside the selection box will be selected

  3. Click and drag the group to reposition them together

This method is especially helpful when your contact info is stacked closely together.

Applying These Changes to All Slides (LINK Feature)

If you want to move your contact information across all slides, not just one:

  1. Click into the first slide (this acts as the master slide)

  2. Make sure the LINK feature is turned ON

    • The paperclip / infinity icon in the top-left corner should not have a slash through it

  3. Multi-select and move your contact info

The change will apply to all linked slides automatically.

If you only want to move the contact info on one specific slide, turn the LINK feature OFF first.

Saving Your Changes

When you’re happy with the placement:

  • Click Save and Exit

  • Your changes will be saved and applied to the post

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Why is it forcing me to move one line at a time?

You likely haven’t multi-selected the elements yet. Use Shift-click or the selection box.

Why did the text move on every slide?

The LINK feature was turned ON. Turn it off to edit slides individually.

Can I still fine-tune spacing after moving everything?

Yes. You can click individual elements again to make small adjustments.

Summary

You’ve now successfully moved multiple text elements at the same time in RealEstateContent.ai. By multi-selecting elements and using the LINK feature, you can reposition grouped content quickly and cleanly—without frustration.
