Think of this cheat sheet as your go-to guide for getting the most out of RealEstateContent.ai! From how often to post and when to post, to building out personas, customizing your content, and more! Keep it handy and come back anytime you need a quick refresher.

Section 1: Posting Cadence

How often you post matters more than any single "perfect" post. Consistency beats perfection.

  • Starting off: Aim for around 5 posts per week across your main platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). That's enough to stay visible without overwhelming your audience. Slowly increase that number the more you get comfortable with the platform.

  • Mix your content types. Don't post the same type of content every day. Rotate between carousels, static, and reels, while also showcasing your listings, sharing market reports that highlight key local statistics, and using your AI Twin posts to position yourself as a trusted local expert without having to film any videos yourself.

  • Batch it. Set aside one time block a week (or every two weeks) to schedule everything in advance instead of posting the day of. It's easier to stay consistent this way.

Ideal cadence: Monday-Friday, one post per social media platform per day. You could also look into building a scheduled cadence where you generate content around a certain topic every certain day (Mortgage Mondays, Tips for First-Time Home Buyer Fridays, etc). This allows your audience to understand when you post about certain topics.

Section 2: Perfect Timing to Post

Timing affects how many people see your post before it gets buried in the feed. There are three perfect windows to target when selecting a publishing time for your content!

  • Early morning: (6–9 am) perfect to ensure that your post is in your audience’s feed once they jump online for the first time to start their day.

  • Lunchtime: (11:30-1:30 pm) when people are stepping away from their computers, enjoying lunch, and doing a little bit of scrolling.

  • Evening window: (6-8 pm) our personal favorite, due to the fact that people are winding down, relaxing, and scrolling to end their day.

Tip: You can set your preferred posting time inside of your Advanced Settings!

Section 3: Popular Brand Color HEX Codes

Matching your content to your brokerage’s brand colors can create a more polished and consistent look. Here are approximate color codes for several major brokerages.

Section 4: Persona Tips

Persona responses are the most important part of setting up your profile. Responses to your persona questions will be used by the platform when generating your content and suggesting topics. It's very important that you include as many details as you can and ensure that everything is as accurate as possible so that your generated content feels unique, relevant, and authentic to your brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Persona in RealEstateContent.ai? Think of your persona as the platform’s way of getting to know you! It includes details about your brand, location, services, audience, and communication style. RealEstateContent.ai uses this information to suggest relevant topics and create content that sounds and feels like you.

Why build more than one? Most users only need one persona, but having multiple personas can be incredibly helpful when you want to generate content from different perspectives. You can use them to target different audiences, serve multiple markets, promote different services, support agent recruiting, experiment with unique brand voices, and so much more.

How to create a new Persona. Navigate to your Brand Dashboard by logging into your account, clicking 'Brand Dashboard' on the left-hand side and select the “Persona Info” tab. Open the dropdown menu in the top-right corner, then select “+ New Persona.”

Click the pencil icon to give your new persona a clear name. Then, answer the persona questions from the perspective you want the content to reflect, such as agent recruiting, a different market, another area of your business, etc.

Tip: Toggling between Personas. When browsing suggested topics in the Content Calendar, you can easily switch between personas by clicking the red Default Persona option in the topic bar. Once you select a different persona, your suggested topics will automatically update with ideas tailored specifically to that persona.

Persona Reminder. Each persona that you create will have its own dedicated brand settings and writing style. So, feel free to upload a different logo, headshot, or adjust brand colors for a newly created persona.

Section 5: Editor Tips

Perfect for: Those who want more control over which templates and images are being used for their graphics.

  • Want to keep your favorite designs in rotation? Save or favorite the templates you love and organize them into folders for easy access. If you’d like the platform to use a specific collection for future generations, open Advanced Settings while generating and select that folder under Template Source. It’s an easy way to create a more consistent look with less editing.

  • Favoriting images: A great way to lock in a specific look or aesthetic across your content. Add your favorite images to your favorites folder, then select it as your main background image source under Advanced Settings. Future generations will automatically pull images from that folder, helping your content feel more cohesive and on-brand.

  • Quick controls. To apply your brand colors to all of the templates in the suggested templates folder, open your quick controls at the top of the editor, and then select one of your brand color variations.

  • Switching logos and headshots: If you’ve uploaded multiple logos or headshots, you can easily switch between them to add variety or choose the option that best fits each post. Open the Branding tool inside the editor and select your preferred logo or headshot to instantly update it on the canvas.

Section 6: Advanced Settings

Located: Within your ‘Settings’ page in your left-side panel.

  • Want more control over the templates used in your generations? When generating your content, open Advanced Settings and adjust Template Source to choose which template folder the platform pulls from. Once you’ve created your own template folders, they’ll appear here as additional options.

  • Background Source: Choose which image collection the platform will use when generating your content. In your advanced settings, you'll see options such as All, For You, Favorites, or any custom folders you’ve created. You can update your preferred Background Source anytime under Settings → Advanced Settings to control which images are being used and help keep your content visually relevant and consistent.

  • Image selections: Allows you to control whether the same background image appears across every slide of your carousel or each slide uses a different image with a similar style for a cohesive look.
