This tutorial explains how to re-connect an integration in RealEstateContent.ai if it becomes disconnected.
From time to time, integrations can disconnect — this is normal and happens across all social platforms. Reconnecting is quick and ensures your posts continue to publish as scheduled.
Why Integrations Sometimes Disconnect
An integration may disconnect for a few common reasons, including:
You changed your password on the connected platform
Your login or admin access changed (for example, on Facebook or LinkedIn Pages)
The platform requires a routine refresh after a set time period
The platform updated its security or permissions
Good to know:
Many platforms automatically require integrations to be refreshed periodically for security reasons. This is standard and not an error.
Automatic Notifications (When Applicable)
If we’re aware of a scheduled or routine disconnection in advance, RealEstateContent.ai will automatically email you to let you know.
This gives you time to refresh your connection before anything disconnects, helping avoid interruptions to scheduled posts.
How to Re-Connect an Integration
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Log into your RealEstateContent.ai account
Step 2: Open Integrations
Click Integrations on the left-hand navigation bar
Step 3: Find the disconnected integration
You’ll see one of two options:
Option 1: Refresh the Integration
If the platform only requires a refresh:
Click Refresh
Follow the quick on-screen steps
This usually takes just a few seconds.
Option 2: Re-Connect the Integration
If the integration has fully disconnected:
Click Connect
Follow the full connection flow again
Log into the platform and approve access
Once completed, your integration will be active again.
Important Things to Know
Your integration must be connected for posts to auto-publish
Without a valid connection:
Scheduled posts cannot publish
Unscheduled posts cannot be approved and scheduled
Reconnecting restores normal posting immediately
Summary
Integrations can occasionally disconnect due to platform security or account changes. If this happens, simply head to the Integrations tab and click Refresh or Connect to restore the connection.
The process is quick, easy, and gets you back on track right away.
