Quick Overview (What & Why)
This tutorial shows you how to manually create, upload, and schedule your own content in RealEstateContent.ai.
You can use this workflow if you:
Already have photos or videos you want to post
Create content outside the platform (phone, Canva, camera, etc.)
Want to write your own caption (with optional AI help)
Want full creative freedom
You can create a post completely from scratch — with your own media, designs you build in the Editor, or even a stand-alone AI-generated image.
Before You Start (Important!)
Before creating a manual post, make sure:
You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account
You are on the Content Calendar view
How to Create a Manual Post
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Click on a day in your Content Calendar
Choose the day you want your post to publish
Step 2: Click “More Options”
This opens the manual post options
Step 3: Click “Upload Your Own Content”
A blank post will appear.
What You’ll See in a Blank Post
Your blank post starts with:
No media or design
No caption
A clean slate to build exactly what you want
Step 4: Choose Your Platforms
In the top-left corner, select the platform(s) you want to post to
It defaults to Instagram, but you can also select:
Facebook
LinkedIn
X (Twitter)
TikTok (if connected)
You can choose one or multiple platforms for the same post, just be mindful that each platform may have different posting criteria (ie. Captions written for Instagram will be too long for X/Twitter).
Step 5: Set Your Date & Time
Choose the exact date and time you want the post to publish
Nothing will publish without your approval
How to Add Media to Your Manual Post (3 Options)
You have three different ways to add visuals to your post.
Option 1: Upload Your Own Photo or Video
Click the three dots (… )
Select Upload Media
Upload a photo or video saved on your device
This is perfect if you already have:
Personal photos
Videos or reels you’ve recorded
Note:
Uploaded videos should be fully edited and ready to publish.
Option 2: Create a Design from Scratch Using the Editor
Instead of uploading media, you can build a post directly inside RealEstateContent.ai’s built-in Editor.
Click Edit Design
This opens the Editor, where you can:
Access the image library
Add text, shapes, and graphics
Create a single image, carousel, or reel-style design
Add your headshot, logo, and contact information
Apply your brand colors and fonts
This is a great option if you want to:
Create a post entirely from scratch
Access and use one of the images in the image library
Design a custom carousel or graphic
Option 3: Generate a Stand-Alone AI Image
If you don’t have media and don’t want to use the Editor:
On the right-hand navigation bar, click Generate AI Image
Describe the image you want to generate
Choose whether to include people or not
Click Generate Image
The AI will create a stand-alone image for your post — no Editor required.
How to Write or Enhance Your Caption
Write Your Own Caption
Click into the caption field and type whatever you’d like
Enhance Your Caption with AI (Optional)
Click Enhance Caption
The AI can expand, improve, or clean up what you wrote
Want to Go Further?
You can also:
Regenerate the caption
Make it shorter
Make it more or less personal
Use Ask AI to do something special for specific instructions
Or — keep your caption exactly as you wrote it.
Final Step: Approve & Schedule
When everything looks good:
Click Approve and Schedule
Your post is now scheduled to publish on the date and time you selected.
Why This Is Powerful
Using manual posts means:
You’re never limited to AI-generated content
You can post anything, anytime
You can mix AI content with your own videos, photos, and ideas
You can still use AI to save time on captions
The possibilities are endless.
Summary
You’ve now learned how to manually create, customize, and schedule your own content using RealEstateContent.ai. Whether you upload media, design from scratch, or generate an AI image, you’re always in full control.
