Before You Start (Important!)
Before adding hashtags, make sure:
You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account
You have a list of hashtags you want to use
You understand that hashtags can be edited, removed, or turned off at any time
Good to know: Hashtags are applied automatically, but you always stay in full control.
Adding Hashtags from the Brand Dashboard
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Log into your account
Go to www.realestatecontent.ai
Enter your email and password
Click Log In
Step 2: Open Brand Dashboard
From the left-hand navigation menu, click Brand Dashboard
Step 3: Open Writing Style
Click Writing Style
Step 4: Edit your hashtags
Find the Hashtags section. Toggle it on, then click into the text box. Type each hashtag and press Enter to lock it in. Each one will appear as its own tag. Your changes save automatically. Watch the preview on the right to see them appear.
How to Make Sure Your Hashtags Apply to Generated Captions
Step 1: Open the Content Calendar
Step 2: Type in a topic and click Generate
Step 3: On the right-hand panel, scroll to Advanced Settings
Step 4: Make sure Hashtags is toggled ON before generating
Editing or Removing Hashtags on a Specific Post
You are always in control of your captions.
You can toggle Hashtags OFF before generating a post if you don’t want them included
You can click into any generated post and select Edit Caption to tweak, remove, or change hashtags for that specific post
This allows you to customize captions without affecting your saved hashtag list.
Common Questions & Troubleshooting
Can I change my hashtags later?
Yes. You can edit your hashtag list at any time from the Brand Dashboard.
Do I have to use hashtags on every post?
No. You can turn hashtags on or off in Advanced Settings for each post.
Why don’t my Google Business posts have hashtags?
Hashtags aren’t added to Google Business posts, even when the Hashtags toggle is on. Your hashtags will still be added to the other platforms on that post.
Why shouldn’t I use vague or overly specific hashtags?
Very broad hashtags are crowded, and extremely specific ones aren’t searched. Balanced, relevant hashtags perform best.
