Quick Overview (What & Why)

When Sync Templates is turned ON, all posts generated for the same day and in the same generation will use the same design template, even though the content itself is still customized and optimized for each platform.

This makes it much easier to visually track what went out on which day.

Before You Start (Important!)

Before using Sync Templates, make sure:

  • You are logged into your RealEstateContent.ai account

  • You are generating content from the Content Calendar

  • You understand that Sync Templates affects design consistency, not captions or copy

Good to know: Nothing is ever published without your approval. Sync Templates only affects how designs are generated.

Where to Find Advanced Settings

You’ll see Advanced Settings while generating content.

How to Access Advanced Settings

Step 1: Open the Content Calendar

Step 2: Click the top bar that says

“What would you like your content to focus on this week?”

Step 3: Enter a topic (or choose from Suggested Topics) and click Generate

Step 4: A right-hand navigation panel will appear where you select:

  • Days of the month

  • Post type

  • Platforms

Step 5: Scroll down and click the arrow to expand Advanced Settings

What Sync Templates Does

When Sync Templates is toggled ON:

  • All posts generated for the same day will use the same design template

  • This applies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • The design stays consistent, but the content does not

What stays the same

  • Layout

  • Design structure

  • Visual template

What stays different

  • Captions

  • Copy length

  • Platform-specific formatting

  • Platform-specific optimization

Each platform still gets content written specifically for that platform — only the design template is shared.

Why This Is Helpful

Sync Templates makes it much easier to visually track your content.

Instead of thinking:

“Which design went to which platform?”

You can think:

“The post with the star on the left, red accents, and white text went out everywhere on Tuesday.”

This is especially helpful if you:

  • Post on multiple platforms

  • Review your calendar visually

  • Want clean, organized content planning

Important Limitations to Understand

  • Sync Templates only applies to posts generated at the same time

  • It does not retroactively apply to older posts

  • It does not sync templates across separate generations

Example:

If you generate content for Tuesday all at once → templates sync

If you generate Instagram today and LinkedIn tomorrow → templates will not sync

How to Use Sync Templates

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Generate content from the Content Calendar

Step 2: Open Advanced Settings

Step 3: Find Sync Templates

Step 4: Toggle Sync Templates ON

Step 5: Generate your content

All posts for that day and generation will now share the same design template.

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Will all my captions be the same?

No. Captions and copy are still fully customized for each platform.

Does this affect posts I already generated?

No. Sync Templates only applies to future generations.

Should I always keep this on?

That depends. Turn it on if you want visual consistency by day. Turn it off if you prefer more visual variety.

Summary

You’ve now learned what Sync Templates means in RealEstateContent.ai. When enabled, it keeps the design template consistent across platforms for the same day, while still allowing each post’s content to be optimized for its platform.

It’s a simple switch that makes multi-platform posting far easier to manage.
