Quick Overview (What & Why)

When you generate content for multiple social platforms, RealEstateContent.ai automatically optimizes each post for the platform it’s being published to. This can include differences in caption style, post format, number of slides, and more.

If you customize the design of one post and love how it looks, Apply Styles allows you to quickly carry that same visual style across the other posts from the same generation, without editing each one individually.

Before You Start (Important!)

Before using Apply Styles, make sure:

  • You are viewing a post from your Content Calendar

  • The posts were created as part of the same generation

  • You’ve made and saved any design changes you want to carry over

Good to know: Apply Styles only updates the design and backgrounds of your other posts from the same generation. Each post keeps its own caption and slide copy, so your content remains optimized for each individual platform.

How to Apply Your Design to Other Posts

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Open the post with the design you’d like to use

  • From your Content Calendar, click into the post you want to use as your design

Step 2: Customize your design

  • Click Edit Design

  • Make any changes you’d like

  • Save your changes and return to the Post Preview

Step 3: Click Apply Styles

  • You’ll find Apply Styles in the top-right corner of the Post Preview

Step 4: Review the available posts

  • A pop-up will show the other posts from the same generation

  • You’ll be able to see which platforms and posts your design will be applied to

Step 5: Click Apply to Posts

Your selected design and backgrounds will be applied to the other posts, and the updated versions will automatically re-render.

What Happens to My Platform-Specific Content?

Your platform-specific content stays intact.

When you use Apply Styles:

  • Each post keeps its own caption

  • Each post keeps its own slide copy

  • The design and backgrounds are carried over from your selected post

  • Each updated post automatically re-renders with the new design

This means you can create a more consistent visual look across platforms without losing the content optimizations made for each platform.

Changed Your Mind? Undo Your Changes

If you decide you preferred the original designs, you can undo the change.

After using Apply Styles, you’ll see a Design Updated message at the top of the Post Preview.

Click Undo to revert the applied design.

Apply Styles vs. Save as Template

These two features are designed for different purposes.

Apply Styles:

  • Applies a design to other posts from the same generation

  • Saves you from making the same design changes to each platform individually

  • Can be accessed directly from the Post Preview

Save as Template:

  • Saves a design you love for future use

  • Allows you to reuse that design on future content and generations

  • Is available from within the Editor

Good to know: Apply Styles simply gives you a faster way to make posts from the same generation visually consistent.

Best Practice

If you generate content for several platforms, start by customizing the version you like best.

Once you’re happy with the look, use Apply Styles to carry that design across the other posts from the generation. This can save you from repeating the same design edits for every platform.

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Will Apply Styles change my captions?

No. Each post keeps its original platform-specific caption.

Will it change the copy on my slides?

No. Each post keeps its own slide copy. Apply Styles carries over the visual design and backgrounds.

Can I apply the design to posts from a different generation?

No. Apply Styles is designed for posts created within the same generation.

Can I undo the change?

Yes. After applying the design, click Undo beside the Design Updated message in your Post Preview.

Can I save this design to use again later?

Yes! Use Save as Template from within the Editor if you’d like to reuse the design for future content.

Summary

You’ve now successfully used Apply Styles to carry your favorite design across posts from the same generation — while keeping each post’s platform-specific content intact.
